Our soils have a medium texture with a good percentage of clay.
Clay is the distinctive and peculiar element of these hills and is particularly suited to growing vines.
The soil has a high limestone content and an alkaline pH, and the soils that support the vines are always deeper than 80/100 cm, allowing the roots to have a considerable volume of soil to explore. The subsoil is poor in water, but retains moisture, an absolute characteristic of this area.
The grapes enjoy optimal exposure and benefit from the mixed climate created by the proximity of the sea (7 km) and the mountains (30 km). During the ripening process, we experience temperature variations that give our grapes unique and distinctive character.
